i don’t think i’ll EVER get used to this feeling. 🥹💛
after two days without an online order, today we’ve received THREE orders totaling $293.70… AND THE DAY ISN’T EVEN OVER YET!!! 😭
something i’ve noticed is that when one order comes in, it’s like a chain reaction. one notification turns into another, and then ANOTHER!!! 😂
but today i found myself thinking about how different things used to be.
i would spend 5 to 8 hours outside at events. setting up my tent, displaying my lemonade, handing out samples, talking to strangers, and hoping they’d love it enough to purchase a bottle.
and now people are finding my business online, reading about my product, and trusting me enough to place an order without ever tasting it first.
THAT PART RIGHT THERE?! 🥹😭
it’s one thing to sell somebody something after they’ve tried it. it’s another thing entirely for someone who’s never met you to believe in what you’ve created enough to give it a chance.
and i’m SO grateful for both.

yesterday was officially my biggest day yet 😭
17 website visitors
4 total orders
$211.72 in sales
and i realized i needed to clarify the challenge a little 😂 ALL orders count and i’m grateful for every single one of them!! but the 31 i’m specifically tracking are complete strangers who become new customers.
so from now on we’re tracking BOTH 👀

because apparently selling lemonade to strangers in person and convincing a stranger on the internet to order lemonade they’ve never tasted are two VERY different skills 😭😂

![whew. this hit me a little harder than i thought it would
everybody posts the “WE’RE IN STORES!!!” moment. the pictures in the aisle. seeing your product on the shelf next to brands you’ve known your whole life. walking into a store and realizing something YOU created is sitting there for people to buy.
i definitely posted that part.
what i didn’t post was what it felt like when that chapter ended.
going from seeing Lord Laird’s sitting on someone else’s shelves… to opening my own refrigerator and seeing all of that product sitting with me 😕
and i think that’s why putting these two clips beside each other just did something to me 😭
because nobody really prepares you for what it feels like to experience growth in your business… and then have to rebuild.
but this is part of the story too.
